Nestled in the woods between Peelse and Cartierheide, you’ll find De Oude Brandtoren. A unique and charming location where you’re welcome all year round. Each season has its own charm in this beautiful setting. Enjoy the sunshine on our lovely terrace with delicious dishes and drinks, while the kids have fun in the playground or the play forest.

On cold and rainy days, the fireplace is lit in the Tavern. Enjoy hearty Burgundian dishes, sip a special beer, and share tall tales. Enjoy with friends, family, or just each other. Whether you’re alone, with a partner, or in a large group, everyone is welcome at De Oude Brandtoren!

Winter Terrace

From November through January, we transform our forest terrace and shelter into an atmospheric Winter Forest Terrace.

After a refreshing walk, warm up by the fire, still wearing your coat in the crisp outdoor air. If the weather is dry, enjoy our terrace surrounded by nature. If a few drops fall, you can sit cozily and sheltered under the canopy in the woods.

On our winter terrace, you’re welcome to enjoy tasty bites, a slice of cake, or a selection of delicious easonal winter dishes. Prefer a more extensive dining experience? Reserve a table inside for a cosy lunch or an atmospheric dinner — or simply drop by spontaneously.
